War

An interesting and thought-provoking post has been placed on Searching For God about the current political situation and ‘Religious War’. It is a somewhat angry post but he raises some very valid points. Religious war is a very sensitive topic, but the political elite have grabbed it by the reigns and uses the notion for their own ends. This article outlines what those ends are and the pointlessness of the death and destruction the results from it.

I suggest you take a look so long as you do not have any extreme view points.

May ALL beings live in peace.

“The gift of Dhamma excels all other gifts”

— The Lord Buddha

Dhamma

"One whose faith in the Tathāgata is settled, fixed, established, firm, unshaken by any monk or brahmin, by any god, Māra, Brahma or anyone in the world, can confidently say: ‘I am the true child of the Lord, born of Dhamma, created by Dhamma, an heir of Dhamma.’"Aggañña, Dīgha Nikāya 27
